Would you like to be part of a dedicated and conscientious team, who use their quick thinking and emotional resilience to provide help and support to residents throughout North Yorkshire. based In Malton, The Ryecare Lifeline Service handles calls 24/7, 365 days a year and has been assisting North Yorkshire residents to get help when needed through emergency call buttons for over 30 years, making an invaluable contribution to the local community.

As the Ryecare Lifeline Coordinator you will be actively promoting the benefits of Lifeline and assistive technology helping to coordinate activity across the Ryedale locality with Lifeline services. You will monitor lifelines in use and stock management. In addition you will be visiting customers throughout the Ryedale locality and York. You will be responsible for building relationships as part of the Integrated care system and attend meetings to encourage and promote the use of Lifelines. You will trained to be able to answer calls within the contact centre to provide support as and when needed as well as assisting with the installation and testing of lifelines as and when required. You will maintain referrals rates and maximise income to the service from increasing the customers base working closely with NYC communications teams. You will provide up to date data on the service to inform future council plans and support the Ryecare manager to provide excellent customer service.

Post holders will be expected to multi task, remain calm and caring even when pressurised and in stressful emergency situations

This post does require the applicant to be part of a standby rota out of hours (which attracts an additional payment) for one week in four.
