Senior Automation QA

**The Person**

As the Senior Automation Tester you will contribute to the companies continued, ongoing digital expansion and growth, becoming part of a well established company. You'll be an essential member of the team working closely with the other IT professionals ona range of exciting projects and help drive success.
- You will have a strong understanding of Selenium, experience of exploratory testing and ability to design and execute effective test cases on your own.
- Experience of testing integrated front end solutions with APIs (e.g. restful JSON, SOAPXML) and working with opensource API tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of working with and in cloud environments (e.g. Azure or AWS)
- A willingness to learn, good eye for detail and comfortable using the latest technologies

**The Role**
- Championing effective test automation and good testing practices; Writing and executing effective functional and non-functional tests (security, performance. load etc), creating test data and carrying out exploratory testing.
- Configure testing environments, engineer and maintain automation test scripts using multiple testing technologies.
- Work with the team to help focus on the needs of customers. By considering those needs help and by understanding project scope, priorities and manage own work.
- Work with the Agile technical team in building industry leading, robust software solutions and by taking ownership of the testing and demonstrate pride and excellence in your work and delivering fit for purpose solutions.
- Collaborate with developers to define testing of user stories as they are being developed; ensure that completed user stories satisfy all the acceptance criteria and there are no outstanding defects.
- Drive best technology and software testing practices with passion and enthusiasm.
