Draughtsman - Autocad and Solidworks

**Draughtsman with AutoCAD / Solidworks experience.**

Crossword Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a Draughtsman for our Client based in Wirral.

The role is a hybrid-role, 1-2 days at home and the rest of the week either office based or on Clients' sites/offices.

You must have at least 2 years experience producing structural drawings and have a portfolio of work. if you have Tekla experience then all the better but this can be trained on the job if successful.
- Experience designing balustrades, staircases, gantries, CAT Ladders and other secondary steel work items
- Be able to produce highly accurate 3D Models and 2D Technical Drawings and associated BIM Data (co-ordinated BIM Models)
- Have experience of Autodesk BIM 360 Document Manager, for submitting deliverables to clients
- Effective communicator
- Able to work independently and as part of a team (internally / externally)

The following is desirable:

- Experience using Solidworks - if possible, demonstrated with a portfolio of work, or more importantly a willingness to learn how to use this piece of software.
- “on the tools” engineering experience, or at least some practical knowledge of the manufacturing processes used to make the above steelwork
- Flexible to the demands of working in a “start-up”, i.e from time to time, duties maybe switched to marketing/sales activities, project management and fabrication/assembly if required. We are not expecting experience in these areas, but a willingness to learn and be involved in these areas as and when required.

Salary of around £30k for the right person.
