Exam Invigilator

Vision for Education is a leading education recruitment agency, dedicated to providing high-quality temporary and permanent staff to schools across the UK. We are currently seeking Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools in Darlington during examination periods.

**About the role**:
As an Exam Invigilator working through Vision for Education, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and security of examinations within secondary schools in Darlington. This temporary, part-time role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of exams.
- Set up examination rooms in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Ensure that exam materials are distributed to students accurately and securely.
- Supervise students during exams, maintaining a quiet and focused environment.
- Monitor and assist students as needed while ensuring compliance with exam regulations.
- Manage the entry and exit of students from exam rooms in an orderly manner.
- Record any irregularities or incidents during exams and report them to the appropriate authority.
- Collect and collate exam papers and materials for secure storage or dispatch.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Exam Invigilator you will:

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Previous experience as an exam invigilator or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
