**The vacancy**

Moore Barlow is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our leading (_Band 1 - Chambers & Partners, Tier 1 - Legal 500_) Personal Injury Team in Southampton. This position offers significant opportunities for personal and professional development, with training and guidance from our team of specialist serious injury lawyers.

Our team are predominantly involved in complex and high-value cases involving:

- Adult brain injury
- Child brain injury
- Spinal cord injury
- Complex orthopaedic, including amputation
- Fatal incidents, including inquest

Our lawyers work within small teams led by one of the Partners, as opposed to each matter being assigned to an individual fee-earner. **What we look for**:

- A Senior Associate with prior experience of managing a caseload of claimant serious injury matters. Whilst we are ideally seeking a Senior Associate to join the team, we will also consider Associates ready for their first Senior Associate opportunity (meaning we can consider individuals typically with 5PQE+, although we are focused much more on individual experience and quality of work so this is provided as a very rough guide only).
- Familiarity with time recording and being responsible for a fee target
- Engaging, empathetic, and friendly communication style, with the ability to interact confidently with clients (and their families) who are going through a very difficult time
- Creative problem-solving skills; able to think outside of the box with a willingness to help others in the team.
