Working Foreman

Optima Site Solutions have a opportunity for a Working Foreman to work for an established contractor client of Optima on a commercial project in Winnersh, Berkshire.

Work starts immediately for a few weeks.

Key Responsibilities
- Have a good level of understanding in general construction, ideally trade qualified (carpentry background) and hold valid SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid
- Responsible for being the point of contact between workers and Project Manager
- Coordinating tasks for the day including but not limited to creating schedules for workers, oversee quality of the site, managing the budget and daily inspections of site in accordance to drawings
- Managing specialist sub-contractors and signing off their works
- Procurement of standard materials from approved suppliers in advance
- Activities on site are in line with health and safety procedures including conducting Toolbox talks

Key Skills Required
- Have exceptional written and spoken English
- IT literate
- Be highly self-motivated and have experience of delivering high quality projects in a pressurized environment
- Have management experience of running commercial projects
- Have exceptional attention to detail and a right first-time attitude

Pay: £250.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Management: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- SMSTS (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
- CSCS Card (required)
