Welder/fabricator

Welder-Fabricator.**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. Working with our highly skilled Welders-Fabricators, this role is to ensure that all welding is completed to the highest standard whilst adhering and maintaining a strong knowledge of safety protocols.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cut a variety of material to desired size as per works orders.
- MIG welding
- Complete required safety inspection check sheets
- Carefully wrap and palletise items in a safe and accurate manner.
- Daily rigorous cleaning, including maintenance of machines and work area.
- Complete quality control on JIG work and on finished products
- Create requestion forms for consumables, profiles and material
- Carefully read works order instructions/ engineering drawings to understand required finish on parts.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Welder or Fabricator is essential to this role.
- Strong knowledge of MIG Welding
- Must have ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
- A team player with a flexible 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's license.
