Overview

We are looking for extra staff due to an increase of workload to provide staffing support to children's homes across Teesside, County Durham and Tyne and Wear.

We are looking for people with good flexibility and availability to meet the staffing needs of children's homes.

These shifts can range from 12hr shifts, sleep ins, day shifts with sleep in shifts, waking nights and also the option to do consecutive day and sleep in shifts.

For good staff, there are full time hours available. Good staff are also hired for long term and permanent roles.

These roles can also lead to our social worker assistant vacancies as well as other related roles.

Standard hourly rates start from £12.02/hr - £19.21/hr.

Sleep ins from £40-£81

We are looking for people with a genuine desire to help care for children who have experienced trauma and may also display challenging behaviour due to this.

Drivers preferred but this is not a requirement.

People with a related level 3 preferred but this is not essential as experience is valued greatly.

You will be expected to pass compliance, such as, enhanced DBS, references and ID checks after a successful interview.

We need a complete and up to date CV which is suitable for regulated activity.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.02-£19.21 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 60 per week
