**Compliance & Risk Officer**

**London**

Our client specialises in managing private client, trust and charity portfolios, as well as three multi-asset funds-of-funds and a series of risk-based 'Model Portfolios’ for Financial Advisers. They currently have an exciting opportunity available and arelooking to recruit an experience Compliance & Risk Officer, to work alongside the Compliance & Risk Manager, to assist in their tasks and responsibilities, which include:

- Supporting with the establishment, implementation and maintenance of adequate policies sufficient to ensure the best outcomes for clients and to ensure compliance with the companies obligations under the regulatory system and for countering risk that thebusiness might be used to further financial crime.
- Assisting with the delivery of the regulatory & operational risk assessments to identify, assess and manage risk and providing advice to the business on the implementation of effective systems and controls to ensure the best outcomes for clients and toensure compliance under the regulatory system.
- Support the regulatory change process to identify any regulatory updates affecting the company and assessing the impact of these changes on the business and providing advice on the effective implementation in line with the best outcomes for clients andthe business area.
- Delivering of the provision of regulatory training to the business.
- Provision of management information to the Head of Compliance & Risk, relevant committees and governance bodies as required.
- Ensuring appropriate client outcomes when investigating and resolving complaints and approving financial promotions.
- Assist the Compliance & Risk Manager delivery a programme of risk & control self-assessments.
- Involvement in the production of effective procedures for the Compliance Team consistent with internal standards, business goals and attitude to risk.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2 years’ experience of working within a Compliance role in a financial services organisation.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and data base systems.
- An enquiring mind and willingness to learn.
