Cozy Pets Boutique Hotel is looking for a hardworking individual to work in our pets hotel based just outside of Cambridge.
You must have experience with caring for and looking after animals.
The job would suit an energetic and hardworking individual who is passionate about dogs and cats and who is happy with the extensive cleaning that is involved in the role.
You must also have good people skills as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis. It is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of team in a unique company.
The number of days of work will vary between three to five days each week and will most often cover weekends. ( **Please note you will be required to work during the Christmas period** ).
The hours of work are 7:30am to 12pm and then from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, as there is a longish gap in the afternoon it would be good if the person can drive.
**Skills required**:
Confidence in handling dogs and cats
Good team working skills
High standards of cleaning
Organisational skills
The ability to communicate with a broad range of people
Confident face to face customer service
Good observational skills to notice changes in animals' behavior
The ability to cope with the physical demands of the job
The initiative to work well on your own.
**Your duties would be**:
Cleaning out the pets rooms
Disinfecting and sanitising
Preparing food and feeding the dogs and cats
Keeping animals clean and well looked after
Exercising and providing all pets with enrichment
Monitoring and noting the pets behavior
Maintaining the runs and grounds
Welcoming customers to the hotel and providing them with feedback on their dogs.
**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
