Executive Housekeeper

**£45,000+ per annum**

We are recruiting for an experienced and committed Housekeeper with house management responsibilities to support our client in their new Knightsbridge home.

The property will act as a second home for the client so there will be periods in the year when the family are away. However, the applicants must be willing to work slightly longer hours and weekends when the family are in residency.

Our clients have recently purchased the property so there will be some improvements, renovations and decorating occurring, so the housekeeper will have to be willing to work alongside the contractors and ensure that they are respecting house rules.

The housekeeper will be working largely independently in a nicer, although quieter, family. The role will largely be 5 days a week, but there must be some flexibility to work occasional weekends when the family are using the property.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that the household, and the home’s outdoor areas, are maintained, cleaned and in working order
- Cleaning and presenting the home to the highest possible standard
- Ensure Health & Safety measures and procedures are followed
- Care and maintenance of furniture, ornaments and household items
- Laundering, ensuring garments are attended to with great care and detail
- Wardrobe care, laundering and luggage organisation

**Occasional duties will also include**:

- Supporting the travelling staff
- Room attendance and turndown service
- Helping in the kitchen and pantries when required
- Running errands

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience of housekeeping duties
- Must be able to work independently with a positive approach
- Discretion is essential
- Experience with HNW families and/or Middle Eastern culture is advantageous
- Hotel experience is preferred but not essential
- Attention to detail
- Must be tech-savvy to operate household functions
- Non-smoker
- Good English

**Salary**: From £45,000.00 per year
