Are you an experienced Account Executive looking to progress your career with a reputable Insurance Broker in Leicester? If so then this role may be right for you

As an Account Executive you will provide external service for designated clients and understand their business risks and requirements for insurance. Provide quality advice to clients and attend client meetings as and when requested.

Increase the income of the company in line with agreed personal targets by generating New Business for the company. This includes client visits where appropriate, understanding the prospects business risks and their approach to insurance and designing the most cost-effective insurance programme to meet their requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Service designated existing clients, ensuring that they are retained, and company income is maintained/developed, including client visits, passing files/instructions to appropriate staff.
- Highlight any gaps in cover and recommend improvements to insurance programme, ensuring that quotations are obtained for any new policies.
- Maintain effective credit control in respect of allocated clients.
- Manage or provide support for complex or significant claims matters, liaising with the Claims Team as required.
- Work closely with Account Handlers to provide highest standards of service to prospects and existing clients.
- Deal with any client issues that may arise, referring to the appropriate person when the enquiry falls outside your own knowledge and experience.
- Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally to Berkeley Insurance Group.

**Experience Required**
- At least five years insurance experience (company or broker).
- At least two years external service experience with commercial and/or corporate clients.
- Knowledgeable working experience of commercial insurance products, including Property, Casualty, Motor, Accident and Marine.
- Preferably DipCII (or IRM) qualified or working towards.
