**Creativity Works Preston (CWP)**

CWP is a registered charity that was established to meet the needs of young people not in employment, education or training [NEET] or those who struggle in a mainstream education setting.
We provide a professional and positive atmosphere, supporting individuals with their education, training and personal growth. The focus of our work is social inclusion and is targeted at those people with special education needs and groups of people who have been unable to access learning and work.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
The role of the Project Worker is to provide support to Tutors and the Centre manager, delivering enrichment activities to young people and coordinating the social media platform outputs on Twitter,
Instagram, Facebook and any other platform deemed necessary.

**Accountability**

The post holder will be accountable to the Centre Manager.

**Duties**

The Project Workers principal duties will be:
1. Delivering workshops on production of materials, T Shirts, badges, mugs etc

2. Capturing activities and learners’ progress on One File.

3. Maintain social media accounts.

4. Supervision of learners in the Social Zone

5. Develop and maintain professional relationships with people on the programme.

6. Provide activity and performance reports as requested.

7. Ensuring that project activities operate within Health and Safety at Work guidelines.

8. Ensuring that all activities and products are consistent with ethical good practice and copyright law.

9. Working collaboratively with other CWP staff

10. Undertaking necessary training as identified.

11. Providing regular constructive feedback to both learners and management

12. Safeguard young people.

13. Any other duties reasonably required.

**PERSON SPECIFICATIONS**

- Proven ability to work positively and effectively with people who are disengaged and or economically inactive and an awareness of the issues affecting them.
- Proven ability to organise and plan in an education or training environment.
- Proven ability and recent practical experience of delivering training sessions.
- Proven ability to coordinate and develop social media accounts with regular, coordinated updates.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Proven ability to work in a pressurised environment.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, for example producing training materials, report writing and presentation.
- An understanding of and commitment to Equal Opportunities.
- Excellent IT, organisational and administration skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good personal presentation.
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety and safeguarding.

**Terms and Conditions**

Hours: 08:45-15:30: Mon to Thursday, 6 hours 45 per day and 08:45-15:00 Friday, 6 hours
15 per day, 30.5 hours per week, 30 Minutes for Lunch.

**Salary**: CWP Scale 4 £14.38 ph £22,806 pa, £1,900 per month, Gross
Holidays: 30 days per year plus public holidays Pro rata
