**Executive Assistant to Director, hands on project person**
Peabodys Coffee have operated coffee shops within hospitals for over 25 years. The head office is based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire (where this role will be based). We are currently within an expansion phase where the Directors are working closely with three NHS trusts to open six new outlets within hospital settings.
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to provide key administrative and business support to the Managing Director of Peabodys Coffee.
The right person for this job is results driven and will be the ‘right hand person’ to our Director in an exciting phase of our expansion strategy. They should be a confident problem solver who is happy to take the initiative and execute out the tactical elements of strategic business plans set by the board.
This is an exciting and varied role that is focussed on taking ideas and turning them into results. Daily tasks include coordinating and supporting expansion projects, preparing high level presentations and dealing with pricing and gross profit margins for the current stores.
The role will suit an Executive Assistant who lives and breathes SMEs. This means being willing to get stuck into varied business challenges including marketing campaigns, social media, PR and other external communications.
Hospitality background is preferred but not essential. An interest in great coffee, the NHS and sustainable business would be beneficial.
**Experience, Qualifications and Requirements**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working within SMEs. Blue chip/corporate applicants will be considered but must be aware of the very varied nature of a role in an SME and flexibility and adaptability required.
- Level 4 business qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Executive Assistant experience working to Director/Board level, including proven success in working fast paced environments.
**Skills Required**:
- Ability to deal with colleagues at all levels, building positive relationships and networks to get the job done.
- Ability to understand and analyse numerical information.
- Create social media content.
- Excellent IT skills and demonstrable high level of competence in the full MS Office suite.
- Be able to produce presentations to a high level.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, including EPOS till systems.
**Desirable Skills**
- Previous experience of dealing with construction contractors.
- Experience using graphic design tools. potentially Canva, Adobe illustrator or AF design software etc
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
