Planning in Jersey balances the challenges of dealing with a growing population and the demands of a modern society in a precious environment with incredible heritage. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our small team of planning and heritage professionals to help maintain and develop planning policy in Jersey. You will need to have a sound understanding of a broad range planning issues faced by the island, and a keen focus on delivering targeted, impactful and sustainable change.

As part of the Place and Spatial Planning Team working in the Cabinet Office, you will be working in a fast-paced but rewarding environment, making a real difference to Jersey’s future. This is an opportunity to develop your skills and experience to work across a wide range of priorities to help develop planning legislation, policy and guidance. You will also contribute to major place-based, heritage and public infrastructure decision making and development of other corporate strategic policymaking.
