Apprentice Craft Beer Brewer

Mad Squirrel is one of the UK's most innovative and progressive microbreweries in the Southeast of England and we are looking for a bright, hardworking individual who has ambitions to be a fully qualified brewer.

We are offering a full apprenticeship at a competitive salary with training both on the job and at Nottingham University.

**Apprenticeship summary**

**Working week**

Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:00 or 10.00 - 18.00. Time table can change depending on brewing activity. On the second year of the apprenticeship, occasional brewery checks at the weekend are required, this is actioned on a shared Rota basis.

Level 4 (Higher national certificate)

**What will I be doing?**
- Assisting the senior brewing team in the brewing process and all the cleaning activities associated with working in a busy brewery
- Packaging finished craft beer into Cans, cask and kegs
- Contributing to the rota system in ensuring that the brewery is completely clean and tidy and organised to ensure maximum productivity

**What will I get out of it?**
- Opportunity to study for the " General Certificate in Brewing" from the IBD (Institute of Brewing & Distilling)
