The role will report direct to the Group FC who is on track to become the Group FD. You will be initially based in Peterborough whilst the GFC is on secondment there to one of the group businesses, but will eventually be based in Bourne.
What you’ll be doing
- Support to produce management accounts, and board packs for business across the group.
- Produce three-year business plans including cashflow forecasts.
- Able to adapt quickly and work across different businesses and sectors covered in the group.
- Route cause analysis.
- Process improvement/streamlining.
- Assist with Finance/ERP system implementation.
- Commercially astute with an eye for detail and the ability to read the numbers.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Eager to learn about the different businesses in the group and build relationships.
- Ad hoc tasks, which may be non-finance related, to support the group FC.
