**Your role**:We have an exciting opportunity for a QC EM Associate to join our team in Glasgow. The QC EM Associate will be responsible for environmental monitoring (EM) of manufacturing areas. You will also maintain the QC EM lab through housekeeping activities, equipment maintenance and stock control. The You will ensure projects are carried out with the appropriate scientific and regulatory compliance oversight. You will provide guidance and training to other employees. In addition, you will support investigations of environmental monitoring related deviations (as appropriate), ensuring identification of root causes. The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with operational and quality assurance personnel will be critical for success in this role.
**Who you are**:
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and adjust to unplanned changes as well
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and action-orientated
- previous experience in a scientific laboratory role would be advantageous, ideally within a GLP/GMP laboratory environment
- Demonstrable scientific expertise in environmental monitoring preferred
