We have an opening for a Temporary Waste & Recycling Transport Supervisor based in the Swindon area.

**About the Waste & Recycling Transport Supervisor role**:
You will be working with the Waste & Recycling Team, managing the day to day operation. Duties will include:

- Supervise and control collection teams including Drivers and Loaders, ensuring compliance, procedures and policies are adhered to.
- Responsible for resource planning, ensuring costs are managed within set budgets.
- To proactively change resourcing plans to adapt to circumstances i.e. staff shortages, vehicle breakdowns.
- Manage Drivers hours, compliance and vehicle maintenance
- To maintain and update IT systems, including payroll, safety, fleet compliance, customer complaints and insurance.

**Experience/Skills Required for the Waste & Recycling Transport Supervisor role**:

- Experience of using IT systems including MS Office
- Ability to manage front line staff
- Knowledge of safety, driving, fleet compliance and environmental legislation and regulations
- Previous experience of working within the waste and recycling industry is advantageous but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £15.75 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Swindon, Wiltshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
