**What you’ll need to be successful as a Management Accountant**:
Be a part-qualified or fully-qualified accountant ideally through CIMA, ACCA or AAT
Ability to examine and report on large data sets and be able to extract insightful information
Be able to demonstrate a minimum of one year of experience as a Management Accountant and at least three years finance experience overall
Must have experience in preparing management accounts and taking full ownership of accruals, prepayments
Be a proficient user of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel - intermediate to advanced
Have good communication skills and work well independently
Be highly analytical, with strong attention to detail with a willingness to support different departments
Ability to multi-task, be well organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience within Transportation network is preferred but not essential
A good team player and a desire to succeed

**Main duties and responsibilities**:
In-depth analysis, problem-solving, variance analysis and highlighting key trends
Provide insightful information and support to departments heads and directors
Production of timely forecasts, and budgets to aide the direction of the business
Production and development of board reports and financial review packs
Production of an accurate weekly flash report that is continually updated
Reconciliation of balance sheets
Ensuring intercompany transactions are reconciled and agreed
Production of effective & decision making reports to agreed timescales and formats
Ensure a continuous improvement methodology is adopted within working practices
Assisting in the finance function to achieve its goals, ambitions, and objectives and become best in class
