A well-known Leicestershire based food manufacturing company are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to work on 3 on 3 off Days shift pattern at their modern food production facility based in North Leicester.

As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical knowledge you will provide engineering support to the production areas and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.Looking for engineersto bring their knowledge and skills and are happy to question the methodology / processes in a professional way to help improve the site.

**Salary** : £41,700 plus pension, private healthcare, company bonus, mobile phone, ongoing training.

**Working hours** : 3 on 3 off, 12-hour Day shifts.

**What you need to know about this Maintenance Engineer role**
- The engineers on shift like working with each other
- The engineers have a lot of experience, they enjoy their job and support younger engineers with their development.
- The business is investing, there are continue capex projects form facility and equipment improvements.

**Duties will include**:

- Maintaining food processing equipment and automated packing lines.
- Servicing facility equipment including boilers/lighting/power/ pneumatics/plumbing.
- Pro-active and reactive maintenance duties.
- Diagnose to circuit diagram level faults on electrical and electronic systems
- Liaising at all levels in a professional manner across all departments

**Looking for a Maintenance Engineer who has the following skills and experiences**:

- Qualified Engineer, with electrical skills.
- Ideally, you will be apprenticeship trained although this is not essential.
- Competent in electrical engineering.
- Proven experience of processing equipment / automated packing lines, service equipment including boilers and pneumatics would be advantageous.
- Previous industry experience within a high-volume pressured manufacturing sector.
- Food industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Flexible reliable manner and able to work on own initiative
- Willing to go the extra mile to achieve the company’s goals.
