Cleaner

**Accountabilities**
- Provide a high-quality cleaning service that includes tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, and polishing surfaces.
- Offices and Corridors - Dust/polish all surfaces including desks.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Kitchen - wipe all surfaces, sweep and mop the floors, clean sinks, taps, draining board and basins.
- Toilets - wipe all surfaces, sweep and mop the floors, clean sinks, taps, basins and clean each toilet.
- Stairs - brush and mop internal entrance stairs and first floor stairways.
- Cleaning stock level maintenance - Keep stock of chemicals and cleaning products, re-order from stores when required.
- Outside Areas - Bins outside canteen, smoking area bins, ash trays and floor sweep.
- Litter Picking.
- Must keep cleaning items separate and understand cross contamination.

**Hours of work: Continental days Pattern: working 3 days on and 3 days off 6.00am to 6.00pm.**

**Required skills**:

- The ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Clean, designated facility areas including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom and locker rooms.
- Restocking supplies from stores and taking control of the cleaning function.
- Carry out special cleaning tasks as required.
- Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff and engage with the workforce.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Able to handle floor scrubbing machines and polishers.
- Cleaning to a high standard will be expected and supported.
