**We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Graphic Designer (maternity leave cover) to join our marketing team.**

We are looking for a Junior Designer to create engaging designs according to requirements. In this role, you should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for details. If you’re passionate about design and eager to learn more, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to create impactful designs that capture and promote our company vision.

You will be based in the North West of England (within commutable distance of our Burnley office, for ad hoc photography and face to face meeting requirements) however we do operate a hybrid working model allowing you to work from home or from our Support Centre.

**What you will be doing**:

- Involved in brainstorming content creative strategies
- Sourcing imagery and checking resolution is fit for purpose
- Managing the production of graphic materials for a diverse range of projects
- Supporting the team through the execution of campaigns and projects
- Adopting a thorough understanding of the brand identity, visual guidelines and overarching strategy, ensuring brand consistency and perception of excellence
- Make sure all designs jobs progress effectively and continuously deliver on design deadlines, and are at the forefront of industry standards
- Ensure an in-depth understanding of the TOFS existing and target customers to make sure creative output is compelling, appealing to our audiences and fit for purpose
- Translate verbal ideas into visual concepts, through design development and creating assets for digital channels
- Learn through experience how to take graphic communication from idea to fruition
- Continuous research on competitor activity, design software and innovation
- Work with the Marketing team to take a project and make it your own, generating creative ideas and articulating them in a visual way
- Show passion about creative design which provides a world class user-experience
- Able to manage a busy schedule with the drive to see each project through to completion
- Team player who has the confidence to speak up and take ownership no matter what the situation

**What we are looking for**:
**Essential**:

- Up to 2 years of experience as a Junior Designer
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative suite: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Complete design projects from concept to delivery, including artwork and ensuring all files are print ready
- A keen eye for detail
- Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise accordingly
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to respond and act in a fluctuating business
- Demonstrable creative flair and idea generation
- Experienced and skilled in artwork preparation
- Can demonstrate that the customer is at the heart of everything we do and ensure a deep understanding of our customers

**Desirable**:

- Experience of basic product photography using in-house studio
- Experience of working motion graphics and video (After Effects & Premier etc)
- Experience of retouching images
