**Job Title**:_Kitchen Assistant_

**Main Purpose**:
Kitchen assistants perform all cleaning, washing, and preparation duties required in kitchens.

**Responsible to**: _Directors/ Manager/ Kitchen Manager_

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Kitchen Assistant to assist our team with the preparation of food and dishes.
- You will be responsible for cleaning, washing, controlling inventory, organising the stockroom and fridges, and emptying rubbish bins.
- The ideal individual for the Kitchen Assistant role will have the ability to stand for long shifts, work as part of a team, and precisely follow health and hygiene practises

**Effective Management of Darroch Resources**
- To be aware of current resources and take steps to maximise our time and use of other resources.
- To attend all **mandatory** training and other relevant training in line with Darroch policies and procedures.
