This is a great opportunity for a Cloud Security Architect to join a growing Cloud and DevOps engineering team within a global digital transformation organisation. You will play an important role in the security design and implementation of the public cloudplatform foundation and control plane that covers provisioning, telemetry, networking, and integration into the organization wide services and an opportunity to work on greenfield security projects. Basic upwards of £80k to circa £100k plus 10%-15% bonus.Remote working 1 day/month at London office (expensed).

**Role guide for the Cloud Security Architect includes**:

- Scope, design, build and operate multi-cloud security services that multiple engineering teams can use within their products to help them deliver value faster, reliable, and secure.
- Defining the High-level and low-level security architecture design and solutions for a project or programme align to business and functional requirements
- Develop, test, and deliver Security Policy as code for a variety of Public Cloud compute services and Container platforms leveraging native services.
- Support other architects to make design choices that will scale and be easy to operate within Cloud services and provide guidance on security/performance/operational constraints.
- Embed DevSecOps practices ensuring quality and compliance for the infrastructure code.

**Essential experience for Cloud Security Architect includes**:

- Background in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering/platform Engineer/Security Engineer role, deploying and maintaining multi-cloud foundation services (aka Landing zone) and/or container orchestrator platforms.
- Experience with the core foundational security services of cloud providers (e.g. AWS) such IAM, Cognito, GuardDuty, CloudHSM, Network Firewall, Shield etc.
- Experience with Provisioning Security policy as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and adapt secure code practices and guidelines.
- Experience in setting up and managing container security in platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE) or OpenShift.
- Experience in integrating CI/CD pipelines for the underlying cloud infrastructure platform and/or the landing zone services with Security tools
- Exposure and implementation of Identity & Access management solutions including PKI

**Desirable experience for Senior Cloud Architect includes**:

- Hands on experience of at least one of programming languages such as Python, Go, etc.
- Experience in integrating security testing tools such as Zaproxy, CheckMarx, Veracode, etc. as part of the DevSecOps pipelines.
- Experience with integrating infrastructure test and compliance tools in the automation pipelines.
