Accounts Assistant

FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Assistant based in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.
This is a full time, office based, temporary contract position for at least 12 months for maternity cover.
Main duties include:
- Assisting with Credit Control, taking an organised and proactive approach to engage with customers and collect aged and current debt
- Support the wider Finance team with general day to day accounting duties, such as processing of sales and purchase invoices, bank reconciliations, updating fixed asset register and assisting with month-end close duties, and any other adhoc duties as required
- Support the wider business with any other related, day to day operational administrative duties as requested
- Good all-round experience within a varied Finance/Accounts role
- Particular experience with Credit Control duties would be beneficial
- Ability to work cooperatively within a small, close knit team
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, with a keen attention to detail
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
