**To assist in the development of the market proposition of Legumology Ltd**
**General Responsibilities**
- Complete assigned projects & tasks efficiently & within allocated timescales. Highlight risks & assistance requirements & propose solutions.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Review & report progress of tasks regularly against critical paths
- Operate as an effective member of the team, offering support and constructive critique as appropriate, sharing knowledge & assisting in the development of departmental systems.
- Agreeing, reviewing and reporting regularly against key task areas.
- Ad hoc tasks and projects identified by the New Product Development Manager as aligned with evolving business priorities.
**Raw materials**
- Sourcing raw materials from existing and new suppliers.
- Initiate New supplier approval through the technical department.
- Obtain price, MOQ, lead time information.
- Obtain trial samples & maintain stock.
**Products**
- Prepare all required information on trial products.
- Prepare pilot samples of flours and kibbles.
- Run test mill to understand capability and effect of change-parts.
- Use sieve set to limit particle size distribution.
**Applications**
- Test and develop recipes for inclusion of pulse flours/kibbles.
**Market information**
- Obtain and collate information about competitive products within the retail, foodservice & ingredient sectors.
- Identify new & emerging markets & upcoming trends.
- Identify key competitors & novel products.
- Create a database to include current information on competitor products including key attributes.
**Marketing**
- Assist with Online presence and content generation.
**Record-keeping & Reporting**
- All records to be kept up to date, accurate & stored within the secure department file structure.
- Reports are to be issued to meet business requirements & within project management deadlines.
**Visits & Presentations**
- Assist with content & sample preparation.

**Person Specification**
- Exhibit effective presentation & report-writing skills, the ability to draft accurate complex correspondence to project stakeholders from within & outside of the business.
- Ability to use initiative & be pro-active whilst developing the product range.
- The ability to converse with a diverse range of people at all levels both verbally & written.
- Provide a good standard of service to project stakeholders, whether internal or external. Ensuring accurate information is available to meet established timescales.
- Exhibit effective time management & organisational skills.
- IT literate - Microsoft office suite.
- Maintain trust and confidentiality.
- Full UK driving license.
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
