**School Librarian Required in a Secondary School in Slough**

**School Librarian required in Slough**

We are currently working with a Secondary School based in Slough who are recruiting for a School Librarian.

Working hours are 10:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

**About the role**:
Our School Librarian/ Reading Support duties can include:

- Relabelling current stock
- Rearranging current stock to a new layout (some light cleaning/dusting of shelves)
- Identifying and boxing stock for disposal
- Repairing stock when salvageable
- Preparing new stock for cataloguing (covering and labelling)
- Cataloguing and shelving new stock.

**The ideal School Librarian/ Reading Support will have**:

- Experience of working in a school or public library as a librarian or similar..
- A real passion for working within an education environment.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Process oriented methodical worker with a keen eye for detail.
