Senior Accountant

**Senior Accountant - Part Time / Flexible Hours Available - Dynamic Accountancy Practice - East Sussex / Hybrid Working - £50k - £60k (pro rata) + bonus and benefits**

We have a great opportunity for a **Qualified (ACA or ACCA) Accountant** to join a well-established, successful and growing accountancy practice in East Sussex, on a part time or full time basis.

Joining a fabulous team of dynamic individuals and working closely with the Directors, the **Accountant**will undertake a senior role within the firm.

Our client is looking for someone who is keen to join a fast-growing accountancy and tax specialist firm to support their continued success and growth; this role offers genuine partnership opportunities.

**Key responsibilities as the Senior Accountant / Client Accountant will include**:

- Managing and growing a diverse portfolio of clients
- Preparing year end accounts including reviewing and finalising accounts for sole traders, Partnerships, LLP’s and Limited Companies
- Preparing tax returns
- Offering an advisory service to clients
- Supervising team members and providing line management support as necessary
- Working closely with the Directors to support the continued success and growth of the firm

**What we’re looking for**:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- Previous accountancy practice experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients
- Solid understanding of UK accountancy and tax laws
- Ability to build strong working relationships with existing and new clients
- IT literacy including MS Office and Xero
- Confident communication skills
- Ambitious, dynamic and forward-thinking nature
- Desire to work in a rapid-growth environment
