**Job Title**: HV Fitter

**Base Location**: Field Based working across the Southwest of the UK.

**Salary**: £38,784 (37 hour week) + optional overtime + standby + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time

Firstly and importantly you’ll be joining a welcoming and supportive HV team of experienced Fitters, Jointers, Engineers SAP’s and support functions who are passionate about supporting each other, Enerveo and our customers. The Southwest team works on an exciting range of HV projects, predominantly with private network customers including MOD sites, Solar Farms and a variety of business and organisations across the region.

Our Fitters are crucial to the team and in joining us you can expect to be carrying out HV installations, and maintenance in a safe, efficient and economic manner on independent networks. This will include setting out from drawings and specifications to establish the requirements of a project and ensure compliance to policies and procedures.

This role also allows for you to join us as a Fitter, or Jointer and receive additional training to authorise you for both so this is a great opportunity to develop new skills and authorisations.

**What will I be doing in this role?**

Enerveo carry out all aspects of electrical work including the installation and maintenance of private high voltage networks up to and including 33kV across the Region.

You will be provided with the required training to carry out HV installations, maintenance and routine LV switching without supervision in a safe, efficient and economical manner, including setting out from drawings and specifications and establish the requirements of a project and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Working on our existing client contracts, you will be able to demonstrate competency in various types of private client HV networks or previous DNO experience. You will thrive in a team environment, whilst also being able to work independently.

**What do I need to be successful in the role?**
- We expect you will have qualified as a fitter or jointer and/or as an electrician previously. Previous HV experience is desirable but not essential.
- A proven track record in construction, repair and operation of electrical plant and equipment up to 33kV on DNO or private networks would be an advantage
- Being flexible to complete out of hours stand-by duties and attend short notice work in the event of faults.
- A high regard for safety, embedding yourself in our safety culture and adhering to guidelines in everything you do is a key priority
- It is an essential requirement you have a full UK driving licence.
- All applicants are required to hold a full UK driving license.
