**We Are Hiring: Shop Keeper**
**Job description**:
Shop Keeper responsibilities include maintaining the store's revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient store operation, as well as enforcing staff compliance with store's health and safety policies, identifying ways to increase store's revenue, and ensuring that adequate reserves of merchandise are held and order new stock as needed. You will ensure that store equipment is serviced and repaired as needed. You should also be able to provide the store owner with regular updates on store activities.
To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and leadership skills and be able to motivate staff to achieve stores goals.
You will lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure the store runs smoothly and customers have pleasant shopping experiences.
**Responsibilities**
- Providing all services offered by the store, which includes selling, repairing and purchasing mobile phones and tablets.
- Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction
- Lead the store staff in providing excellent services and maximising store's profit
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- Organize and supervise shifts, managing day-to-day operation of the store including opening and closing procedure, staff behavior and security measures for the premises.
- Arrange for regular maintenance services for all equipment
- Appraise staff performance, provide feedback to improve staff performance and providing training and overall guidance
- Estimate future needs for store stock and ordering new stock as needed
- Ensure compliance with store security
- Enduring that the store is clean and stock is well maintained at all times.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Authorise payment for supplies received and decide on vending price.
- Processing client's payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and events
- Creating and distributing promotional material to attract new customers
- Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
**Requirements**:
- General bookkeeping and business finance skills.
- Excellent communication and team leading skills.
- Interest and ability to continue learning about market standards and changes in trend.
Hours: 39 hour per week
