**Role Overview**

As a Penetration Tester, you will be a key member of the Group Cyber Security Team here at Bupa, where you will be responsible for delivering complex global security testing engagements to a high standard.

As a core part of this function, you will be expected to use your extensive skillset to deliver technical, non-technical reports to project timelines against all the main testing methodologies such as, but not limited to: Infrastructure, Web Application, Mobile and Cloud.

This role requires you to be technically skilled, whilst being able to influence stakeholders around the globe. You will be flexible and resilient in your approach to new and difficult challenges.

**What you’ll do**:

- You will be required to perform formal and comprehensive penetration testing engagements for multiple global market/business units, covering all major testing methodologies, including, but not limited to: Infrastructure, Web Application, API, Mobile App, Cloud, and Wireless
- Produce high quality detailed and accurate penetration testing reports, written for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You will be expected to carry out any post-test meetings with internal stakeholders, and be able to verbalise clearly and concisely any of the technical findings in an easily understandable manner
- You will be comfortable with the scoping of complex security testing engagements to ensure that all the appropriate technical details and risks are fully considered
- Remediation management and retesting of vulnerabilities, providing SME advice to developers and project leads
- Support the growth and reputation of the Internal Offensive Security Team by creating interesting content including, but not limited to, blog articles and whitepapers on interesting vulnerabilities or global cyber security risks
- Help to foster a supportive global community of practice for current Bupa employees that have a desire to move into more technical security testing roles.
- You will act as a role model for other members in the team, demonstrating the highest levels of technical competence and professionalism.

**What you’ll bring**:
You will be an experienced technologist with a demonstrable track record of delivering penetration testing engagements. You will also have:

- Minimum of 1+ years active and current experience delivering penetration testing services
- Proficient in manually assessing Infrastructure, Web Applications, APIs, including strong knowledge of Active Directory, Cloud and Mobile experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of security tools, techniques, and methodology frameworks such as: OWASP, OSSTMM and PTES
- A proven team player with experience of working with multi-faceted teams to deliver projects to stakeholders within budget and timescale boundaries.
- Able to independently carry out scoping and execution of penetration testing
- Good analytical and negotiating skills.
- Superb written and spoken English skills are vital for compiling high-quality reports and liaising with stakeholders.
- Spanish as a first or second language would be advantageous
- Experience of mentoring/supporting less experienced people than yourself.
- RedTeam and Social Engineering experience is a plus.
- Testing experience in highly regulated industries would also be highly desirable

**Desirable Qualifications and Certifications**:

- CREST Registered Tester (CRT), TigerScheme Qualified Security Team Member (QSTM), or Cyber Scheme CSTM
- We will consider any of the above certifications if previously held, but currently expired
- Other Industry relevant qualifications such as OSCP, HTB CPTS, SANS GPEN/GWAPT will be considered, with relevant experience.
