London Film Academy (LFA) is seeking a part time Course Coordinator with excellent administrative; organizational; and interpersonal skills to join our team at our busy higher education film school based in Fulham, London.

This role is suited to an individual with administrative experience, ideally within the higher education sector. They will have regular interaction with students and tutors.

**Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Be a point of contact for students for the delivery of pastoral support.
- Respond to course enquiries and conduct campus tours.
- Liaise with external tutors and ensure that teaching spaces are suitably prepared for the delivery of lectures; workshop; and seminars.
- Provide support for LFA events such as Open Days; Induction Weeks; Masterclasses; Graduation Ceremonies; and general marketing.
- Track and reporting of student attendance.
- Undertake general administration across the Courses Team including minute-taking; document preparation, collection and filing.
- Provide administrative assistance with student productions.
- Collect marketing related materials from students and external tutors.

**Essential Experience & Personal Qualities**

**Essential**:

- Demonstrable experience of administration in a higher education environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent timekeeping record.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Highly organized with experience using Microsoft Word® and Excel® on Mac OS.
- Demonstrable calmness under pressure and ability to lead and inspire students to overcome unforeseen logístical difficulties.
- Ability to find creative solutions to logístical issues, negotiate with stakeholders and empower students to improve as independent filmmakers.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in filmmaking industry, with foundation level knowledge of filmmaking practices and disciplines.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems/Virtual Learning Environments.
- Proactive approach to providing administrative support to staff and students.

**Role Details**:
**Salary**:£25,000 - £27,000 pro rata

**Type of Contract**:Fixed Term Contract for 6 months

**Hours of Work**:0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)

**Based**:LFA Headquarters, Walham Grove, Fulham, SW6. Some flexible working conditions will be considered.

**Line Manager**: BA Course Leader

**Responsible For**: Current Students, Runners where appropriate.
