We are looking for a Security Supervisor to join us at our client site in the Shetland Islands. Our client is a large Oil terminal which is positioned to receive production from both the east and west of Shetland producing areas of Energy.
As a Security Supervisor you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

**A typical day in the life as a Security Supervisor**:
- Ensure all security teams under your control are fully manned and all members of those teams arrive fit for duty
- Participate in morning meetings with Security Team Lead
- Compile and maintain shift rotas Supervise officers in their daily tasks, including patrolling
- Provide on-the-job training for all officers
- Conduct scenario testing with all officers at least once per month
- Coordinate regular ‘live' scenarios, drills and exercises
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and cared for
- Regularly inspect Gatehouse, Mess Room, Locker Room and Security Trailer
- Ensure Vehicle checks are carried out and audit regularly
- Conduct annual appraisals with all officers under your command
- Ensure all security reports and admin. are complete and accurate
- Conduct quarterly key audits
- Ensure that SIA Licence is valid and on display at all times while at work
- Maintaining on call rotas
- Monthly Reports as specified

- Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
