We have an opportunity for someone to join our team in an exciting role as Night Shift Production Assistant Team Leader.

You will be working nightshift pattern of 15:00- 01:00, with the initial training being undertaken as part of the day shift to support the onboarding process.

You would be working closely with our Health and Safety Manager and Operations Manager to ensure our sites maintain regulatory compliance, reporting into the Night Shift Team Leader.

This is a leadership role where you will be required to prioritise both reactive and proactive tasks for yourself and the Nightshift Production Operative Team as directed by the Night Shift Team Leader, ensuring production requirements are completed in a safe and timely manner. You will be working closely with the Night Shift Team Leader and undertaking their managerial tasks in their absence.

You will have a positive attitude and be willing to learn, this is very important as you will be working within a small, friendly team to ensure the smooth running of the factory.
- Oversee and support the entire process of Packed fruits to be passed through the pasteurisation and re-palletized ready for next day shipping)
- Ensure all Pallets are labelled with tractability maintained at all times.
- Deputize and complete documentation /timesheets
- Ensure all staff are adhering to site health and safety rules, and report any concerns or issues to management team.
- Ensuring that the operation is organised and clean before the end of the shift.
- Support shutting down all equipment at the end of the shift correctly, switching all lighting off and locking up the doors & gates before leaving site.
- To be trained on use of equipment / machinery.

Ideally you will come from a manufacturing background but this is not essential.
- GCSE’s Math & English or equivalent, with good communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and a keen ability to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour
