**Salary** Salary**: £31,411 per annum together with USS pension, if required.
**Location**: This position will be based at the Singleton Campus, Swansea
**Contract**: Fixed term contract until 31st August 2025

**Main Purpose of the Post**

The role of the Teaching Fellow will include: developing and delivering undergraduate modules, particularly in support of the Degree Apprenticeship programme whose students are full-time employees attending the University for lectures and labs on Wednesday evenings; and developing and delivering workshops and training sessions for both Primary and Secondary school pupils and teachers, both on campus and in schools.

The Teaching Fellow will report directly to the Director of Technocamps.

Duties include:

- Contributing to the teaching activities of the Computer Science Department, particularly within the context of the Degree Apprenticeship programme.
- Participate in the review of modules and programmes and contribute to programme review.
- Take responsibility for setting and assessment of coursework and examinations, including marking and providing written and oral feedback.
- Carry out course evaluation including facilitating student feedback, reflecting on own teaching design and delivery and implementing ideas for improving own performance.
- Deal with student queries about the content and delivery of a module as well as provide advice and ideas to the where necessary.
- Supervise the project work of undergraduate students.
- Act as academic mentor to undergraduate students.

Contributing to the workshop activities of the Technocamps programme,
- Review workshop content and materials.
- Develop, design and update materials in compliance with quality standards.
- Collect and collate all relevant participant data to ensure that longitudinal tracking of all participants is effectively maintained.
- Contribute towards the preparation of activity reports and case studies.
- Participate in relevant local and pan-Wales events representing Technocamps for research and promotional opportunities.
- Delivering professional training to both industrial audiences as well as to teachers.
- Such other duties as may be reasonably required.
