ABOUT THIS ROLE
We’re looking for a customer-obsessed, analytical, results-oriented Associate Director, Product Marketing to bring our new products and product marketing initiatives to our customers across the UK and Canada. You will manage the product marketing/go-to-market strategy for UK, support Audible US leadership to determine their product marketing/go-to-market strategy for CA and manage execution for a host of new products, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to obtain buy-in for product initiatives and to set expectations. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Our UK and Canada Product Marketing team plays a number of critical roles; we ensure global activities and launches are localised for the UK and Canada services by making the customer experiences culturally relevant. We’re also the guardians of the customer experience, diving into customer insights and data to find new ways to delight our customers and enrich their lives.
ABOUT YOU
You have deep consumer marketing and product marketing experience, and a demonstrated ability to define customer needs into business requirements. You must be comfortable working both at the strategic level and diving deep into implementation as needed for major launches - including managing marketing campaigns, writing business requirements and analysing data. You are customer obsessed, show strong levels of ownership, and help foster a high-energy, high-performance culture.
As a Associate Director, Product Marketing, you will...
- Lead go-to-market/product marketing strategy for new products in UK including architecting launch strategy for UK and leading a cross-functional team to deliver a seamless, successful product launch across all marketing and distribution channels.
- Support Audible US leadership to determine and execute their product marketing/go-to-market strategy for Canada.
- Work closely with Leadership and Product teams to define UK and help US leadership define Canada customer product needs and get them prioritised for design and release.
- Act as customer and product evangelist internally and externally with all associated teams.
- Measure and analyse existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers.
- Communicate the vision and value of new products to internal partners and develop documentation that facilitates an understanding and positioning of products and features.
- Research and identify new opportunities for Audible to further distinguish itself as a pioneer of audio entertainment.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience of consumer marketing/sales, e-commerce, or subscription businesses, preferably in delivering products/services and go-to-market.
- Significant experience in successfully taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative experience; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.

- Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables.
- Comfortable getting hands dirty to get things done.
- Experience in influencing decisions and outcomes to support business needs.
