Job Role: Graduate Technical Sales Role ( mechanical engineering )

Location: Southam / Office based

**Salary**: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum plus bonus

Our client is looking for a technical minded sales person to join the team, ideally with a background in mechanical engineering but not essential.

This it is a reactive sales role, so mainly inbound calls and you will need to interpret customers’ requirements, proposing a viable solution, costing, quoting and processing orders. It is not a hard sell or cold call sales role and therefore better suited to someone with mechanical engineering background and therefore not suitable an out and out sales person.

The role is predominantly office based but will require some site visits to carry out surveys.

You will be working very closely with and alongside our projects, design and production teams.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Confidence with using IT software is essential, as the role requires use of Microsoft products and CAD software
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Previous experience in lifting, material handling, overhead conveyors industry is desirable but of course not essential
- Full driving licence

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
