Are you passionate about driving operational performance? Do you have a proven track record in managing an operations team circa 300+ and strong experience of day-to-day decision making. With the ability to translate strategic plans into operational success and profitability within a manufacturing environment?

We are looking for an experienced individual who can influence whilst strategically and tactfully lead the team to excellence.

**The role**

As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for leading and developing High Performing Teams within the operations. You will provide overall strategic direction and operational leadership for all production processes for multiple production and operating facilities.

In this role, you will develop strategies for your departments and be responsible for ensuring they meet standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance. Whilst ensuring resources are deployed adequately to deliver business goals and cost objectives are achieved.

You will be responsible for driving and delivering the key performance indicators such as OTIF; Scrap and Productivity, by holding the departments accountable for adherence to site direction and ensuring achievement of all unit targets.

You will be supporting the Operations Director in developing and communicating a clear vision and strategy for the operations departments, establishing the goals and metrics to drive improvement, and creating the environment where the team can exceed goals. The role aim is to achieve operational excellence through a high-performance culture with a strong continuous improvement and lean manufacturing ethic.

**Requirements**:
