We have a vacancy for a Chef/ kitchen assistant, located in our small Letchworth production kitchen, producing our delicious Crepe Rolls.

The position is part-time, 32h worked over 4days.

We are a fast-growing crepe brand with retail stores opening in the UK and international territories.

We are looking for passionate people to work in our Head Office production kitchen, making products for stores, managing production runs and assisting with quality control and development of new product lines.

The team is small but will grow rapidly in the year ahead as we continue to open new stores. This is a great opportunity to get involved early on in a growing business and to help lead and influence its growth and development.

Crepe & Roll is a contemporary take on the much-loved crepe, with an exciting menu of sweet and savoury crepe rolls. We are constantly working on making improvements to products and seeking out new and relevant flavour profiles for the stores. There will be opportunities to support the Production Manager with menu and new product development as well as production planning.

You will also be involved in developing and producing crepe-based products for the already established network of crepeaffaire cafes.

The central production kitchen is forecast to grow quickly, providing an opportunity for the right person to grow with the role and take on more responsibility for training, production management etc.

**Experience**:
Ideally around a year's experience in food production, with sound knowledge of food safety, health and safety and an ability to balance quality and pace.

Personal profile:
You will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn, passion for food and a desire to get involved in a small growing company.

Reliability, time keeping and a positive attitude are essential. We like to work hard, take pride in what we are doing but be sure to enjoy work and maintain a fun environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £11.00 per hour
