**Experienced Dog Groomer**

We have a fantastic opportunity to come and join Barking Barbers dog groomers as an assistant groomer

Within this role you will report into the Salon Manager, your responsibilities will be as followed:
As an assistant dog groomer you be responsible for all aspects of grooming and will go above and beyond to provide the highest standard of dog grooming possible.

You exceed our customers expectations by delivering a positive and approachable service within the salon.

You will provide excellent communication skills as you communicate with new customers and build upon previous relationships with existing customers and dogs.

You will assist and ensure the salon is presented and maintained to a high standard through cleanliness, safety and good standards of housekeeping.

About you:
You will be an approachable, patient and friendly individual who is willing to go above and beyond for both the customer and the dogs at all times.

You have experience of working within a grooming environment, and ideally you will have experience in a similar fast paced setting where you have taken a hands-on approach amongst an ever changing range of dogs.

You will ideally have a grooming related qualification, if not a range/duration of experience will be taken into consideration.

You have a proven track record of achieving high standards within a workplace.

You will be ambitious and hungry to be a key player towards the goal of a successful salon and you will be proactive in achieving this.

You'll be a real people person, along with having a passion for dogs and contributing as part of the team.

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
