**The Vacancy**:
**Purpose of the role**:
To ensure component parts are picked and kitted on time without delay to the Assembly lines

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Preparing and completing kitting procedures, whilst ensuring work areas are clean and tidy
- Inputting and reading data from the MAPICS database
- Transferring goods safely from area to area
- Overseeing the receipt of goods into the Stores area
- Picking / Kitting for production and Despatch
- Working within other areas of the business when required
- Complying with the Company Health and Safety policy, and adhering to all relevant Health and Safety legislation
- Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.

**Person Specification**:
Essential

**Qualifications**:

- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, Grade C or above

**Experience**:

- Stores experience

**Technical Knowledge**:

- PC literate, including Microsoft Office

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Ability to work both accurately and quickly, whilst working within clearly defined processes
- Hardworking with the ability to stay focused
- Attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Good communication skills

**Desirable**:Experience**:

- Amphenol experience

- MAPICS
