**Payroll Administrator/Bookkeeper | West Bridgford, Nottingham | 24+ Hours Per Week | Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications**

An established West Bridgford based accountancy firm has a job opportunity available for an experienced Payroll Administrator to look after the payroll bureau services provided by the firm.

Suitable applicants will have experience of payroll administration and may hold an accounting qualification, such as AAT. Familiarity with current cloud accounting solutions such as Xero would be beneficial, as would experience of Bright pay.

*Experience within an accounting practice is essential.

*You will be able to hit the ground running and work in support to other staff members.

- Enjoy working with a variety of clients, delivering high quality service and contributing to the development of their business
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail are essential, as well as a genuine enthusiasm for the role

**What will your role as a Payroll Administrator/Bookkeeper look like?**
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis
- Running monthly payrolls
- Preparation of payroll reports
- Dealing with HM Revenue & Customs submissions and correspondence
- Pensions registration/uploads/administration
- Assisting clients with payroll payment administration
- Annual P11D processing
- CIS administration
- Annual PSA administration
- Processing payroll/CIS journals into accounting software
- Processing sales and purchases into accounting software
- Bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations
- Assisting with the production and submission of VAT returns
- Assisting with the production and submission of year-end accounts and tax returns.
- General administrative tasks for clients and team members
