**The role**

We are looking for a neighbourhood manager to be a part of our neighbourhood’s team to provide a highly professional customer focused housing management service to the Associations tenants. This is an exciting and challenging role where at peak times mostof the caseload will be managing anti-social behavior complaints.

You will focus on incidents of anti-social behaviour, harassment and domestic violence. You will assist with resolving cases that may be complex and persistent.

Day to day you will undertake detailed investigations: visiting victims, gathering evidence, preparing files for court and liaising with our partner agencies, such as the police etc. You will also support individuals and families and make referrals for thevictims and perpetrators.

Alongside managing anti-social behaviourneighbourhood managers are the focus for the housing management service, and have a prime aim to foster thriving, vibrant neighbourhoods, whilst challenging internal and external services to provide the highest standardsof service to their neighbourhoods. Seeking out new opportunities, whilst developing excellent relationships with key partners such as the police, local authorities, community groups and the voluntary sector, is vital to the role.

**The role also has the following main responsibilities**:

- Deliver an excellent, consistent and responsive housing management service to the patch area
- Build relationships and act as an ambassador for Selwood Housing with partner agencies and residents, to develop initiatives which enable the Neighbourhood to develop and improve resident’s quality of life
- Proactively spend time with tenants, customers and agencies, to understand issues and how we can work together to address these

As you will be required to work on multiple cases at once you must be able to prioritise your own workload and ensure performance targets are met. Experience of using electronic case management systems and a variety of other software is advantageous.

**What we need**

For this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience:

- Educated to GCSE/O Level standard or equivalent.
- Experience of managing neighbourhoods
- Experience of tenancy management.
- Experience of involving, working with and engaging residents to improve service provision
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant law and practice.
- Proven track record of working in partnership and delivering positive outcomes
- Track record of personally achieving targets.
- A track record of delivering excellent services.
- Flexibility to attend evening meetings and work outside normal office hours, particularly when emergencies arise.
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle.
