Paint Line Operative

**Accountable to**

Paint Line Technician

**Role**

The Spray Line Operative will be responsible for the use and cleaning of the spray line as well as the basic quality assurance of produced parts.

**Mandatory Responsibilities**
- Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
- Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.
- Promote and Display the Epwin Core Values.

Role Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Paint Line technician to record and review data and use said data to improve line efficiency and quality.
- Carry our relevant quality checks / inspections on assigned products as required by the product quality plan.
- Segregate all non-conforming products from good production and aid in analysis to prevent reoccurrence.
- Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
- Record all required information for checking / inspection operations as per company works instructions /specifications.
- Alert relevant people to process and product concerns. (Paint Line Technician)
- Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Spray Line Technician and the training plan.
- Safeguard property issued by the company.
- Carry out continual visual quality inspections as determined by the product quality plan and procedure.
- Perform specific quality Checks / Tests as determined by the product quality plan.
- Pack sprayed products in accordance with the packing specification, as stated on the production schedule.
- Ensure workplace is clean and tidy - all housekeeping procedures followed associated with tasks.
- Transfer knowledge and skills among the team (others).
- Undertake reasonable duties as and when required.
