Our client, an international UK law firm are seeking a mid level asset/structured finance associate to join their London office.

The Firm:

- 18 Offices, international presence.
- Turnover c.£300m
- Originally set up as an asset finance boutique in the aviation/maritime sector.

The Department:

- The firms Assets & Structured Finance Group consists of over 150 lawyers across their key geographies including London, Western Europe and New York.
- A tier 1 firm in Asset Finance.
- The team act for all parties involved in financing transactions: lessors, lessees, arrangers, lenders, borrowers, trustees and others.

The Role:
The role is varied and will involve:

- export credit backed financing;
- syndicated and bilateral debt;
- project and asset financing;
- advising on distressed asset finance transactions;
- tax planning and structuring;
- maximising NPV benefits and minimising risk for lessees;
- reducing credit and structure risk for lessors;
- cross border leasing;
- sale and purchase of leasing companies;
- sale and purchase of lease and shipping portfolios;
- vendor leasing documentation including lease/rental agreements and programme agreements receivables financing;
