**Join Our Team as a Receptionist**

Are you ready to be the friendly face and welcoming voice of our company? We're seeking a dynamic Receptionist to join our team and become the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. This role is more than just answering phones—it's about creating a positive and professional atmosphere while handling a variety of tasks with ease and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet visitors, contractors, and employees with a smile and provide them with essential information about health & safety procedures and building security.
- Manage incoming calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to make a positive first impression on visitors.
- Control access to the building and issue Paxton access cards as needed.
- Assist with general administrative duties such as scanning, filing, and managing meeting room calendars.
- Be the go-to person for any building-related issues and coordinate with the necessary departments for resolution.
- Keep reception noticeboards and signs current, tidy, and professional.

**Selection Criteria**:
Essential:

- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in a similar receptionist role.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

**Salary**: Up to £21,830.00 per year

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Reception: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Fareham (required)
