The Improvement Hub has been established to take a leading role in working with the Clinical and Corporate Divisions to facilitate the delivery of the Trust’s Improvement Priorities, contributing to the aims of the wider Pennine Lancashire Integrated Care Partnership.

As part of the Pennine Lancashire Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) the postholder will work with a range of partners and patients to identify, lead and facilitate the co-production of improvements to deliver improved outcomes.

The post holder will work together with the Associate Director of Improvement and Head of Improvement to ensure senior management support is provided across the Improvement Hub.
- Lead the planning and organisation of a broad range of complex improvement programmes/initiatives in line with agreed Improvement priorities and Trust Improvement Programme. This will entail planning the delivery and scheduling of improvement programmes and projects which may impact across or within Departments, Directorates and Divisions and the wider Pennine Lancashire ICP.
- Support the teams involved in improvement work in the delivery of the agreed improvements programmes, providing facilitation, support, coaching and/or programme/project management as appropriate.
- Utilise highly specialist knowledge of the Improvement Practice (SPE+) to ensure the appropriate use of a range of agreed improvement methods/tools to support successful delivery of improvement projects from initial scoping to completion, in order to achieve the agreed improved outcomes.
- Provide line management to other members of the team i.e. Improvement Practice Coaches (Band 7) and support Band 7 staff in their line management of Improvement Practice Facilitators (Band 6), Improvement Practice Support Officers (Band 5), Improvement Practice Administrator (Band 4) as required.
- Deputise for the Head of Improvement and Associate Director of Improvement as required.The Improvement Hub team have an excellent reputation delivering organisation and system wide improvements in healthcare.
