The PHL ADHD Service is seeking dedicated professionals like you to join our dynamic team.

Due to recent service expansion, we are looking to recruit experienced practitioner-level clinicians who hold an independent prescribing qualification. Our collaborative, inclusive approach ensures that patients receive comprehensive support and guidance throughout their ADHD journey.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:
As a Specialist Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional services to patients aged 17.5 and above. Your core responsibilities will include:
**Assessment**:Conduct thorough remote consultations to assess adults suspected of having ADHD, utilising a combination of referral information, screening, and triage tools, along with your clinical expertise.

**Management**:Initiate and titrate ADHD medication according to local and national guidelines, ensuring the safety and efficacy of treatment.

**Review**:Perform holistic patient reviews to evaluate treatment outcomes and identify the need for additional support or referrals.

**Support**:Guide patients through all aspects of their ADHD journey, providing specialist advice to empower them in managing their condition.

**Collaboration**:Support Shared Care arrangements by providing specialist prescribing advice to Primary Care services. Liaise with partner organisations and agencies to ensure seamless patient care.

**Quality**:Contribute to the development of new service initiatives and approaches, actively engaging with clinical governance and quality strategies.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Experience of performing independent ADHD assessments and holistic reviews
- Experience of initiation and titration of ADHD medication
- Excellent understanding of adult ADHD, associated guidance, and the underpinning evidence base
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and quality assurance
- A private, distraction-free workspace to facilitate confidential and professional service delivery

Although this role will be predominantly home-based, there may be a requirement to travel within the contract area for occasional face-to-face clinics with prior agreement.
