Our Nursery Practitioners ensure children have a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment. If you have great communication skills and have a passion for providing a high level of care and education, this could be the role for you. We are looking for a flexible nursery practitioner to work as a bank member of the team, supporting our nursery on an ad-hoc basis.

We are looking for a caring, friendly and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team.

You will have:

- great communication skills with children, team members and parents and carers.
- This is an unqualified role and a level 2 or relevant qualification equivalent in Early Years Foundation Stage is not necessary

The role of Nursery Practitioner is key to ensuring a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment, which allows our children to develop and grow.

To succeed in this, you will need to:

- provide high-quality care and education to our children
- participate in a range of activities that promotes each child’s physical, intellectual and emotional needs
- promote the philosophy of ‘Learning, Playing and Interacting’.

Churchwood Primary Academy

Churchwood Primary Academy is a one-form entry school situated in the picturesque setting of Church Wood in Hastings.

We support and guide every child to achieve their very best.

The academy has a published admissions number of 30 and a total capacity of 218 pupils; this includes a special educational needs facility for eight Key Stage 2 pupils with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder combined with speech and language communication difficulties. The academy also hosts a nursery for children aged from 2 years.
